WHY?

There are many incidents everyday that continue to illustrate bad and progressively worse behavior from children today.Violence is one of the main issues that are taking over the minds of our children everyday. But the real question is where do they get it from? Could it be from what they watch on tv? Or maybe what they learn in school? or in the worst case scenario, could it be what they learn at home?

My question for today is why do you think our children are getting worse?
I am dying for an answer because I am fresh out ideas.
Leave a comment telling me what you think is the problem with today's children.

So Sad

I was riding the subway on my way home today and some of the conversations I ended up listening to really saddened me. I was on the subway at about 2:30pm, (the normal let out time for school children). Being in such a close area and sharing the same air, not too many conversations go unheard in such a cluttered space. While I was patiently waiting for my stop to arrive, manyhigh schoool children got on a one particular stop, (mostly girls). One group of girls decided to sit behind me and start off a conversation that should have been left for privacy. This one girl was talking about a popular concert coming up called POWERHOUSE. When she described what she was going to wear it made me sad. She had plans on dressing in a way that would exploit her body, get hair extensions, and high heels. These girls were no older than 15 and freshmen in high school. I was saddened because I feel that young girls feel as though they have to dress older and appear to be more mature to get attention and to feel good about themselves. They just don't know what kind of attention they will be attracting and it could end upvery fatal if they don't watch out and be careful.
I just wish OUR children had different mindsets and were a little more aware of real life situations... Our children STILL need help!

TERRIBLE VIDEO!! 16 Year Old Boy Beat to Death on Tape!!

Just a few weeks ago a video was released showing a 16year old boy named Derrion Albert getting beat to death in a gang fight. It was said that he was trying to help out a friend and got caught up in the mix and he paid the price with his life. In the video, you could see him get hit in the head with a long board, and there his lifeless body falls to the ground. Then numerous kids involved in the fight proceed to kick and stomp Albert's lifeless body. This just shows that today's children are getting progressively worse in the voilence area. These senseless killings must stop, but who is willing to help OUR children? What was your reaction to this video? Are you scared for the future? Share your thoughts in a comment.

Think today's children are getting worse? You tell me. From three year olds dancing like they are 20 years old, to children under the age of 16 losing their lives over a gang fight. I'd say they are pretty much taking a turn for the worse and our children need help.
